We warmly welcome all participants to the SMBE 2026 Welcome Reception — the official kickoff of the conference! After the Plenary and Opening Session, we invite everyone to stay and join us for an informal gathering to celebrate the start of an inspiring week together.
Enjoy light refreshments, reconnect with colleagues, and meet new peers in a relaxed atmosphere right at the conference venue. It’s the perfect opportunity to start conversations, network, and pick up your name badge.

Social Dinner

Ticket Price: DKK 740 incl. 25% VAT (≈ €99)
We warmly invite all conference participants to join us for the SMBE 2026 Social Dinner — an informal and vibrant evening at BaneGaarden, Copenhagen’s unique green oasis built entirely from upcycled wood and home to 100 % organic food and drinks.
The evening will feature a relaxed atmosphere with streetfood in the charming courtyard and rustic barns. Seated and standing areas encourage easy conversation, networking, and a social flow. We’ll begin with a welcome drink, followed by access to the food stalls and three drink tickets for use at the bar throughout the night. As the evening unfolds, music and dancing will add to the festive atmosphere.
